Who are we?

There are 5 of us who currently help plan and organise each service (Dave, Will, Carrie, Rob and Helen). We get help each month too from Mike on the sound desk and setting up, Gareth operates the computer and Andy is Jeremy Vile.

What do you do?

You can come to a Café Sundae expecting a few things (and hopefully some things that you won't expect too) but we do try to keep each month different so you (and we) don't get bored. A few of the things to expect are:

Café style | That means a cafe (obvious hey!) and chairs round tables so you've got somewhere to sit with a drink, rather than the normal set-up of rows of all facing the front.

Will's Thrills & the Lame Table Game | We like people to talk to each other, just a little bit, and we promise they won't bite (hard). We quite like to make you look a bit silly too, but only if you're willing...

Multimedia | Lots of songs and pictures for you to ignore because you're too busy going to the café to get another smoothie, not that we mind... putting all that work into it... hours slaving away... sniff.

Rob's Blog | Rob likes to leave us with his thoughts and gives you the chance to have your say on what you've seen at the Café whether you agree or disagree.

The Vile Report | Each month we send out our reporter onto the streets to get the very latest public opinion

All challenging you to respond | That's a subtle way of saying that we believe God loves us so much that you and I should live differently to make a difference to others in our response to God.

The chances are that the month you do come, we'll have done something bizarre like setting up a barricade guarded by soldiers so that no-one can even get into the church (did you read about that one in our "Past Café's"?!?!)

No, seriously, please come along. Or why not just sign up to our emails? We send them before and after each Café Sundae so you know what's going on, and maybe one of them will catch your eye...
